Coffee Chat

Come join us for coffee! Coffee Chats are an opportunity for parents, in an informal setting, to have a conversation with a SHS administrator or speaker about a current topic of interest. We usually have four Coffee Chats each school year. Join interested parents in the Auditorium at 8:15 am. Coffee and light snacks are provided. Door prizes are also given. Bring a friend!

The first Coffee Chat of the year will be on October 24th. Mrs. Moore was going to be the featured speaker, but she will be returning from China that day. In her place, an assistant principal will be the guest speaker presenting Sanderson's "Intervention Plan" that is in place to support Sutdent Achievement. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Many of you have expressed an interest in having a panel of Sanderson college freshmen for a question and answer session. Scheduling this Coffee Chat will require we meet late in December. So, our next Coffee Chat will be on December 21st @ 8:15am and the Coffee Chat for November has been cancelled. This panel will field questions about the application process, valuable courses taken at SHS and general freshman urban legends. If you know of a college freshman who attended Sanderson last year and would like to be on the panel please have them email me at vboyle@nc.rr.com.

There are some parking spots along the tree line in the student lot that are vacant (on the right as you are coming in the student lot). The bus lot is also available for your parking use after the buses have left.
