Being a PTSA Volunteer is a rewarding experience! Your gifts of time and financial support allow us to support Sanderson High School and its Staff, Parents and Students and to improve the school community.

The PTSA would like every family to be actively involved in this year's efforts!

    Building and Grounds

        Landscaping and clean-up (Saturdays only)

    Character Education

        Assist with coordination of breakfasts and awards

    Collection of Fees from Students

        PSAT (1-2 hour shift, one time only, during the day in the fall)
        AP tests (1-2 hour shift, one time only, during the day in the spring)

    Fundraising

        General fundraising committee
        Help maintain candy machine

    General Volunteer Pool

        Willing to be called for assistance as needed during school hours
        Available after school hours only

    Guidance Office or Main Office

        Clerical assistance to Dean of Students, counselors, office staff as needed

    Hospitality

        Serve at Teacher Appreciation events during school hours
        Provide food or paper products
        Know of/own a restaurant willing to donate food or sell food at a reduced cost

    Leadership Team

        Work with administration on school improvement/accreditation (meet approximately once per month)

    Media Center

        Assist media specialists with routine duties

    Membership

        Help with membership collections at Orientation and/or Open House

    Newsletter

        Circulation:  assist with collating and mailing (approximately eight mornings during year or help one time only)

    Other

    Senior Reception (May/June, usually Junior Parents)

        Be on planning committee
        Assist with decorations and table setup

        Host and serve (usually at Sanderson after graduation)
